The Trolley System for Channelside was the topic of a post back in September.  Just this week budget cuts were announced which will require Hartline to slash the hours and routes available for service for the trolley.  It will also no longer offer shuttling between downtown and Hyde Park. 

Changes begin November 19th, the trolley will no longer be available on weekdays during mid-afternoon evenings.  Also, late next month evening hours will be reduced to 6pm from 10pm.  On weekends it will be transformed into the "shuttle for entertainment" being used for events at the St. Pete Times Forum, Channelside, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, hotels and parking as late as 2a.m. 

New Hours: 

Downtown Trolley:  6-9am and 3-6pm Monday through Friday

Entertainment Shuttle:  6pm - 2am Friday and Saturday
